Tara Reid started with commercials in her early years and later turned heads when she was a part of Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Her acting has been questioned however she's managed to perform the roles she played with ease. For instance, in The Big Lebowski, Bunny became her breakthrough part. The movie proved to be a stepping stone in her career, and she started to get better offers with films like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. It is American Pie the cult movie that focused on sexual encounters between teenagers that established Reid as a potential star for Hollywood with her role as virgin Vicky. However, none of these resulted in a massively success Hollywood career. Reid's career was marred by several failures, including Josie and the Pussycats. She was not able to make a comeback despite her small role as a character in American Pie 2. The offscreen mistakes of Reid, well-publicized and disastrous plastic surgery, and her numerous flash-and-miss appearances have made her more of the party goer or designer, rather instead of an actress.
